The introduction of graphic software like Photoshop and computer-aided design programs allowed for complex, high-resolution designs that were previously impossible. We transitioned from hand-drawn and cut stencils and film positives to computer-generated designs and eventually digital exposure systems, dramatically improving accuracy and speed.
